‘A bet is a bet’ - Qantas staff don All Blacks jerseys as part of airline wager with Air NZ

Qantas has today protested its love for the Wallabies but has conceded that “a bet is a bet”.

Proving it is sticking to its word, the Australian airline this afternoon posted photos to Facebook of its crew members pulling on temporary uniforms: the All Blacks jersey.

It’s all part of an online wager, with Air New Zealand, where Qantas promised to don black if the All Blacks won the Rugby World Cup.

Qantas said in the post: “We still love the Qantas Wallabies, but a bet is a bet”.
“Today we followed through with the #‎AirlineWager and accepted jerseys from Air New Zealand.”
