When a King Cobra took shelter inside an aircraft at Chennai airport
A photo showing a snake on top of an idol of a goddess inside a temple in Chennai went viral last week. The image very much explained the situation in the flood-ravaged capital city of Tamil Nadu. The flood crippled the entire city of Chennai and brought everything to a standstill.
As Chennai limps back to normalcy, a video has emerged showing Cobra trying to protect itself from rain by taking shelter inside the wheel compartment of a parked aircraft at the city airport.

The video shows some airport officials rescuing the snake and releasing it to safety away from the aircraft parked at the Chennai airport.
Operations at Chennai airport remained suspended for five days after the main runway and other parts were waterlogged after days of heavy rains.
The airport opened for 24-hour operation today. While no international flight is slated to take off or land at the airport, domestic flight services have begun.
