Man Claims Squirrel Stole His Model Plane, Has Video to Prove it

Squirrels have been known to be a bit mischievous, getting into things they’re not supposed to and being fascinated by human objects. But this one squirrel apparently took mischief to a whole new level — and new heights
A man who runs a YouTube channel called Hobby Wars, where he shows off model airplanes, was getting ready to demo one of his planes when a curious squirrel just so happened to come over to check it out.
As cool as squirrels are, we’re pretty sure they don’t know how to fly planes — but what happened next is still pretty darn awesome.
After inspecting the plane for a moment, the squirrel apparently realized that the plane was exactly his size …
… and decided to take it for a quick test flight, if the video can be believed.
While the man says at the beginning of his video that the plane can be controlled from the cockpit …
… we’re not quite sure a squirrel could be this good at piloting.
It’s still one of the cutest things we’ve seen in a while, though.
Don’t let him anywhere near NASA — he’s probably gunning to be the first squirrel in space.
